Hello! We're a pet friendly shop. We have a cat, dogs, horses, and sometimes a few steers. If you or those in your household are sensitive to hair or dander, please be aware our animals are part of our daily lives. 😊
ABOUT OUR FARM
We are a small family farm in Wirt County WV. We began our farming journey in 2016, planting 375 shrub willows as a test crop. The willows flourished and so has our business. We now have about 13,000 bushes, which we harvest each year. Much of our willow is sold to other weavers, and we keep a bit to weave our traditional willow baskets and teach classes.

In 2023 we decided to add another heritage craft to our business and began producing handcrafted brooms. We sell our products online, at festivals in WV and surrounding states, and from our workshop. We also hold classes in broom making and willow basket weaving.​
WHAT'S GOING ON AT APPALACHIAN WILLOWS & BROOMS
We've had a busy year with events in WV, PA, OH, MD, and NY. But now we've settled at home for the winter, preparing for our harvest season, basket and broom classes, and making lots of lovely items for our online sales.
