St. Brigid's Cross, woven by seller from sustainable willow grown on our farm in West Virginia. A traditional cross associated with one of Ireland's patron saints, St. Brigid of Kildare. When hung by the door or in the rafters of a home, it is believed to bring protection and blessings.

In Ireland the cross is hung on St Brigid's Day, February 1, and replaced each year. We think if makes a wonderful gift for yourself or another, any time of the year.

Crosses are made from fresh willow, you may need to tighten the strings as they dry. We do not provide wire or hooks for hanging.
