St. Brigid's Cross, woven by seller from sustainable willow grown on our farm in West Virginia. A traditional cross associated with one of Ireland's patron saints, St. Brigid of Kildare. When hung by the door or in the rafters of a home, it is believed to bring protection and blessings. In Ireland the cross is hung on St Brigid's Day, February 1, and replaced each year. We think if makes a wonderful gift for yourself or another, any time of the year.
